Irish Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques


The Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET) is a non-profit making organisation. The organisation is open to all, asking simply that members have some knowledge of, and an enthusiasm for, Meridian Energy Techniques. The AAMET is entirely voluntary so there is no joining fee and no annual fee, unlike many other groups and associations. As the Association has no income to spend on facilities, the benefits are simple but, we hope, useful: 1) A free E-mail Group for discussion of all matters relating to Meridian Energy Techniques. This is open to all, beginner or advanced therapist, and is intended for the free exchange of ideas on the subject. To join this group simply go to http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/irish-aamet and register free to join the Group Irish-AAMET. 2) The Association aims to follow Gary Craig's lead in making available information, data and materials for the use of all. Therefore, all the material produced by the Association, including text and OHP slides, are available in electronic form, and is provided free of copyright or other restriction for the use of all. Information can be found on the main AAMET website and in the files area of the Meridian-Energy eGroup. Also available is a listing of books considered to be of good value and reasonably priced together with links to authors and stockists. 3) The Association provides a listing of Practitioners on its main website for inspection by the general public when they are seeking treatment. Practitioners are usually expected to be AAMET trained this complies with Gary Craig's guidelines and if training courses are offered and advertised to the general public then this training is to be advertised on his website www.emofree.com. If you would like to appear on the EFT Practitioner Listing for Ireland once you've joined, please email your name, address, telephone number, email address and website address (if you have one) and qualifications theiaamet@iaamet.com. Looking to the future, as more people join the Irish AAMET, the website will be developed, independent from the main AAMET site. Once membership numbers are high enough, we can begin to plan workshops and conferences. In September 2005, the UK AAMET invited Gary Craig to the UK to host an advanced EFT Conference on Chronic Illnesses. It was a fantastic event.
